Every Garden Needs a Gnome....

And I finally found one for mine!

I splurged on a vintage 1960s ceramic garden gnome for a big ten bucks at an antique store. Well, the 1960s isn't quite antique yet, but the gnome is cute, sun- and rainproof, and keeps an eye on my plants while I'm away. Doesn't quite go with the stone meditating Zen monk sculpture, but we're very multicultural around here.

    I am currently Gnomeless. I do have a groundhog, several squirrels, and several rabbits. Unfortunately, they will not stay where I would like to put them (down the road a few miles)!!!

    Groundhogs can be tough! We don't have any here, though we have enough ants to make up for it.

    Thank you, Ngeun! Though clearly British, he seems to be adjusting well to our modern sub-tropical lifestyle.
